Number Six

A stylish holiday cottage in the heart of St. Ives
Weight:

Number Six is a bright and modern cottage, painted white throughout, and furnished in a contemporary style with original local artwork and treasures we hope you will enjoy.

The sitting room is furnished with a pair of sofas, a woodburner effect stove, Smart TV, a DAB radio with Bluetooth connectivity, so you can stream your own music, and of course high speed wireless internet. On the walls is a small collection of atmospheric Cornish paintings, and original black and white photographs of the area.

Leading from the sitting room is the dining room and kitchen. In the dining area you will find a locally sourced farmhouse table, said to be used for making Cornish pasties, and doors leading to the small private patio - ideal space for washing down the surfboards and hanging out the wetsuits, even for a coffee.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all the cutlery and utensils you could possibly need, (including sharp knives!) and includes a dishwasher, microwave, washer-dryer, and Nespresso coffee machine.

At the top of the cottage stairs are two bedrooms and a bathroom. The double room has a white four poster bed, and the twin two full size singles. Each has it's own television and hairdryer. The fresh and bright bathroom has both a bath and a separate shower cubicle. The house sleeps four.

We provide all linen, hand towels, bath towels, and tea towels, an iron and board, along with all we think you might need, and more, for a stay whatever the season.

Please come and find us and explore St Ives. Just a short stroll away are the harbour, beaches, shops, restaurants and all the art galleries and studios. A few hundred yards in any direction will take you to a footpath for fabulous walks along the coast. Our website is full of ideas of where to go, what to do, and where to eat - be sure to have a good look. All of our guests have enjoyed Number Six - have a look at our guest book!

Pets and smoking

The house is strictly no smoking. We will accept well behaved dogs, ONE ONLY, by arrangement, for a small charge of £30.
Available through www.ownersdirect.co.uk

Children and Disabled access

We regret that we cannot normally accept children less than three years old, (as we do not supply cots and high chairs) though exceptions can be made if you can bring your own.
Due to the location and design of the property, Number Six is not suitable for those with a physical disability.

Parking

We are only 200 yards from Barnoon long stay car park (above Tate St Ives), where we have a reserved space, and is as close as you can be. This is a huge bonus in St Ives, where parking is at a real premium, and even more so now that a residents permit scheme has been introduced, meaning that on street parking is almost impossible without a residents permit. You can go out and about in the knowledge that on your return, you have a reserved space. There is a fee for this, in 2022, it is £8.70 per day, or £60.90 per week.
